Public Works Intern
The City of Lake Charles is currently hiring high school and college students for various summer positions. Opportunities are available throughout seven different departments and summer positions will last June through July, although some departments may look to keep students in a position past then.
Data Entry Specialist
- Must be a college student.
- Intern will assist Administration and Vehicle Maintenance with Help Lines, receiving and issuing inventory and work order data entry.
Facilities Maintenance Intern
- Must be a college student.
- Intern will assist Building Maintenance and Trades Workers with painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work and work order data entry.
