Career Development Program (Control System and Instrumentation)

Engineering Development Program (EDP)

Rotation Plan
Ÿ  You will have a chance to work in our Nanjing Operations Service Center (NJOSC), which is the most advanced and modern control room to remotely control over 100 AP plants in just one single room.
Ÿ  You will also have a chance to work in our Xi’an Samsung AP site, which supplies different gases to the world’s leading semiconductor manufacturer, and is the most complicated Electronics Tonnage Gases plant with different types of AP Standard-Product Lines.
Ÿ  In this role, you will have the opportunity to play with the latest Siemens PCS7 automation software for the configuration, troubleshooting, and validation works. Also, there’re valves, flow elements, RTDs, pressure transmitters, analyzers, etc. for you to practice and verify what you have all learned on these instrumentations.
Ÿ  You will be responsible for the plants’ safe stable and reliable running through the committed efforts on the DCS, Controls, Instruments, and Analyzers by being taught the essential procedures and skills.
Ÿ  You will also have opportunities to participate in the new project commissioning and startup support or help with the maintenance /inspection work during a plant TAR (turnaround/overhaul).
Ÿ  You may have opportunities to travel to different AP plants in China to implement the upcoming Win10 Upgrade Projects and get the easy-to-use skills for your fast understanding of the Siemens Controls System.
Ÿ  The company will provide you with a college-like learning system to make you feel comfortable to self-learn whatever knowledge you want. And you will also have a supervisor to teach you hard skills, as well as a mentor to guide your soft skills, or any career plan you want to communicate with.
Ÿ  The EDP rotation program will give you various perspectives in the real world of the Industrial Gas industry, and equip you with diverse and inclusive minds beneficial for your long-term career development.
 
Requirements
Ÿ  Fresh graduate with Bachelor/Master’s degree, major in Automation, Chemical Engineering or relevant is preferred.
Ÿ  Good logical thinking, troubleshooting concepts.
Ÿ  Knowledge in DCS, control system structures is preferred.
Ÿ  Internship experience with any fieldwork in the industry is preferred.
Ÿ  Good command of controls software, and programming languages is preferred.
Ÿ  Good written English skills.
