General Summary:
Works in conjunction with the Marketing Director to coordinate and execute the daily operational functions related to the strategic external branding initiatives and marketing campaigns in support of the business goals and philanthropic mission of JD Bank.
Responsibilities and Duties
- External Focus/Community Relations
- Assist managing the JD Bank social media accounts
- Plans, coordinates and executes bank related community events and attends events when needed.
- Helps to identify potential high-level community partnerships that match the business goals and philanthropic mission of the bank.
- Assists the Marketing Director with coordinating community giving and charitable activities.
- Promotes financial education initiatives through community relations partnerships, including CRA eligible activities.
- Internal Focus/Marketing Support:
- Supports business objectives of marketing and community relations.
- Communicates with bank employees on community relations events and solicits support for activities as required.
- Prepares reports and presentations for the Marketing Director to share with the Board of Directors and leadership teams.
- Manages the inventory, distribution and ordering of all promotional items.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of and complies with all bank departmental and security policies and procedures, as well as federal regulations applicable to the position, including BSA requirements. Completes all required compliance training as assigned.
- Performs research and special projects as assigned.
- Budget
- Assists in planning and execution of the Community Relations (CRA), Business Promotions, Donations, and Advertising budgets.
- Adherence to and support of all compliance and BSA/AML rules and regulations related to this job function.
- Performs other duties that may be assigned by Management
Basic Qualifications:
- A high level of problem –solving skills to coordinate the marketing functions, and to analyze and respond to changes in the regulatory and competitive market.
- Maintain a high level of company and customer confidentiality.
- Must possess a high degree of business development and excel in customer relations.
- Must be well groomed with good human relations and communications skills with a high degree of poise and tact to represent the bank positively. Ability to interact in a courteous, helpful and professional manner.
- Ability to handle high pressure, high volume of work, and willing to work amount of time necessary to properly complete assigned duties.
- Demonstrates flexibility when work assignments or priorities change; a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the overall effectiveness of the departments.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work without direction from supervisor in situations where dramatic changes frequently occur; works with sense of urgency and high level of energy.
- Must be able to operate personal computer various software as it pertains to primary job.
- Must have an acceptable driving record and a current valid driver’s license.
Scheduling:
The position is part time. Work schedule for this position may vary depending on daily work volume. Schedule may require representing the company after hours at related functions. Regular attendance is required.
